Rhydian Roberts X Factor performances -

Week 1 - On 20 October he sang Meatloaf's 'I Would Do Anything For Love'. For the first live show he gave a strong performance.

Week 2 - On 27 October he impressed the judges with his dramatic version of 'The Phantom of The Opera'. Simon Cowell said Rhydian Roberts is 'potentially World Class'.

Week 3 - On 3 November he gave an entertaining rendition of Pink's 'Get The Party Started' in true Shirley Bassey style.

Week 4 - On 10 November he delivered another outstanding performance with his version of 'You Raise Me Up'.

Week 5 - On 17 November he gave another entertaining performance with The Pet Shop Boys' 'Go West'.

Week 6 - On 24 November he gave a show stopping performance of 'Somewhere' from West Side Story. This gave him enough votes to reach the last five.

Week 7 - On 1 December he performed Queen's 'Somebody To Love' and 'I Vow To Thee My Country/World In Union' to secure a place in the semi-final. Praised by the judges, for his second song Simon stated "that was outstanding".

Week 8 - On 8 December he really impressed with 'Bridge Over Troubled Water' and the powerful 'You'll Never Walk Alone' to win a place in the grand final.

Week 9 - The Final - On 15 December Rhydian Roberts performed 'O Holy Night', 'You Raise Me Up' (a duet with Katherine Jenkins) and 'Somewhere'. As usual, he gave outstanding performances and was commended by the judges as having the best voice in the competition. After Same Difference were knocked out Rhydian Roberts and Leon Jackson went head-to-head. They both performed their version of the winners single 'When You Believe' and the final votes were then counted. Leon Jackson was declared the winner with Rhydian Roberts runner-up.
